D&L: The Trump-type

D&L: clothes that make your body go “ouch”!

D&L: We went to Louisiana Museum to see the Marina Abramovic exhibit. It’a must see. She’s hardcore. We want to be like her

D&L: 7. 50
PJ: Who’s your favourite fashion designer?
D&L: Peter Jensen, Stella Mcartney, Acne, Ganni, Tsumori Chisato.
PJ: Favourite lipstick?
D&L: The red kind that goes on the lips… and on the chin and cheeks when we’re drunk
PJ: Foundation?
D&L: no thank you. We both have freckles, and they need to breathe
PJ: Perfume?
D&L: Mitsouko from Guerlain and Coco Mademoiselle from Chanel
PJ: What color hair do you wish you were born with?
D&L: We love our own colors, but we both secretly dream of having curly hair when we were little.
PJ: Are you a good cook?
D&L: No. Ditte wishes she was. Louise does’t care.
PJ: What food do you cook best?
D: Sounds boring, but I make a mean spaghetti bolognese.
L: I make good salads
PJ: What do you wear when you sleep?
D: Socks. For special occasions, I wear a sexy pair that goes over the knee. (still the knitted kind, no one can be sexy while cold)
L: I sleep naked because I get hot flashes due to menopause.
PJ: What did you eat when you woke up this morning?
D: Ymer with ymerdrys (doesn’t translate,look it up, tasts good.)
L: Eggs, bacon and avocado. and coffee.
PJ: What’s your favourite word?
D&L: Feminism
PJ: What words don’t you like?
D&L: Slut, shame, broccoli, hate, whore
PJ: What’s your favourite flower?
D&L: Lilacs.
PJ: Favourite colour?
D&L: All the colors of the rainbow.
PJ: What’s your favourite season?
D&L: Spring and fall both have promises of new beginnings.
PJ: Where do you most want to go now?
D&L: In a bigger sense, we want to conquer the world with our comedy. And in a smaller, we really want to go to the office fridge… it’s lunch time
PJ: What’s your job?
D&L: Comedians, actors, writers.
PJ: Do you like your work?
D&L: We are rather proud of the two seasons of our Tv series “Ditte & Louise”, and the reactions we got from its audience. We are grateful, and it makes us want to keep going and push the envelop concerning the topics we are passionate about.
PJ: Do you like your job?
D&L: Like is too small a word. We love coming to our office to write, and being on set with our crew is a real joy. Also the editing process is quite inspiring, where you kind of rewrite your script once again.
PJ: Do you like your voice?
D&L: Comedy is our way to make a change. Our voice is our superpower. Protagonism is propaganda.
PJ: What is your dream of the future?
D&L: We have just written our first screenplay. We hope the movie will have a great life, a large audience, and make people want to come closer to each other.
PJ: What’s the happiest thing about your life?
D&L: our health, our families. We are blessed with opportunities at this stage of our lives. Keep it coming.
PJ: How about the saddest?
D: Loosing both my parents before they had the chance to grow old.
PJ: What part of your self do you like best?
L: My sense of humor
D: My boobs and my bum. But now Louises answer makes me feel superficial
PJ: What part of your self don’t you like?
D: cellulitis all over. Hate it
L: My bellyfat is not my friend. I want to say I embrace it, but that’s not true
PJ: What part of your personality do you like best?
L: Did I say my sense of humor
D: I’m with her…my sense of humor
PJ: What part of your personality don’t you like?
D: my insecurity around having my own opinions. Basically copying everything Louise says
L: I’m not comfortable around other people. It’s a big challenge in my social life. Social anxiety I guess it’s called
PJ: What is your habit?
D: Red wine in winter and white in summer
L: Dark chocolate and cold sores
PJ: When was your first love?
D: Bjørn back in 1987
L: Christian in 1986
PJ: What kind of guy was he?
D: Beautiful, sensitive and artistic
L: He made me laugh and had the wildest blue eyes
PJ: What type of guy’s your current lover?
D: The type that helps the old ladies with their bags
L: The type that tries to give more than he takes. Lucky for us, they are both feminists
PJ: What do you expect from him?
L: to love me unconditionally, and then leave me the fuck alone from time to time. I’m an introvert, I need space and silence.
PJ: What did you dream last night?
L: When my alarm went on, I dreamt that I just had to accept, that from now on, the annoying sound would be part of my life. Forever.
D: I dreamt that I was a very lousy stand up comedian
PJ: Do you believe in dreams?
D: It evaluates and processes your day. It’s important for the brain.
PJ: Do you believe in jinxes?
L: NO, not at all
D: I try not to. Sometimes the little devil on my shoulder convinces me that what happened was my fault. Because I stepped on the lines on the pavement.
PJ: Do you believe in magic?
L: I believe in unicorns.
PJ: Do you believe in god?
D&L: If God is love, of course. All is love. Love moves mountains. Love is all you need.
